Stay at Le Grand Dixcart B&B – A Historic Farmhouse on the Isle of Sark
Le Grand Dixcart is a charming historic farmhouse on the Isle of Sark, lovingly converted into a cosy bed and breakfast. The main house features six beautifully renovated ensuite rooms, offering a warm and welcoming retreat for visitors.
Each room includes a private ensuite bathroom, a dressing table, and tea and coffee-making facilities for your comfort. Rooms are accessed via a central staircase—please note there is no lift access.
A Delicious Farmhouse Breakfast
A hearty breakfast is included in your stay and is freshly prepared each morning. Guests can choose from a selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad, croissants, toast, tea, coffee, fruit juice, and a traditional cooked farmhouse breakfast featuring our own fresh eggs and homegrown tomatoes. Breakfast is ordered the night before, ensuring a relaxed start to your day.

Double/Twin Rooms
Our bright and inviting Double/Twin Rooms offer comfortable accommodation for two, with the flexibility of a twin or double bed, set up upon request. With two rooms located on the second floor and four rooms on the third floor, these rooms enjoy lovely views over the garden and grounds, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Each room features a private ensuite shower room and tea and coffee-making facilities, ensuring a cosy and convenient stay.

Deluxe Suite - Twin or Double
Our spacious and luxurious Deluxe Suite is perfect for those seeking extra comfort, as well as families or groups who need flexible accommodation. This beautifully renovated suite (2021) combines a king-size or twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a private adjoining lounge—a truly unique space featuring a charming original stonework feature wall.
Accessed through a hidden bookshelf door, the cosy lounge is exclusively yours to enjoy. It includes two comfortable sofa beds, a 36” HD TV, a selection of games, and a coffee table, making it an ideal place to unwind after a day exploring Sark.
The ensuite bathroom features a walk-in shower, fresh towels, and essential amenities, while the bedroom provides ample wardrobe space and tea & coffee-making facilities for a relaxing stay.
This suite offers the perfect balance of privacy and flexibility, making it ideal for couples, families, or groups looking for adjoining rooms with shared space.

Garden Access – Stroll through our beautiful permaculture gardens, vegetable garden, cedar greenhouse, apple orchard, chicken pen, and bee hives. Guided garden tours are available upon request (additional cost).
Carriage Rides – Experience Sark’s traditional mode of transport with a scenic carriage ride (available upon request for an additional cost).
Farmhouse Breakfast – Served Daily from 08:00 to 10:00
Wake up to a delicious homemade breakfast, served in our welcoming farmhouse kitchen each morning. Breakfast is included in your room rate, and orders are collected the night before for a personalised and relaxed start to your day.
We take pride in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including eggs from our own free-range chickens, garden-grown tomatoes, and homemade jams, along with freshly baked bread and croissants.
